My good friend is expecting many family members from out of state to come to her daughter’s wedding this coming summer. Since she has a three empty bedrooms, many family members are going to stay with her and the younger ones will sleep on the floor for a few nights to attend the wedding and to visit. She is looking forward to this as she loves to entertain and cook. She already has a menu of sorts prepared and her cookbook and cooking recipes are out, so she knows exactly what she will prepare for her guests before and after the wedding. There will be many kitchen cooks among them, but knowing my friend she will do the majority of the meals. She said her husband will mostly grill outside, but she will prepare the cooking recipes she can ahead of time and freeze those dishes. I give her credit for having a houseful for a few days, plus worry about the wedding preparations. I will help her out as much as I can, but after the wedding is over is when her and her husband can really just cook and enjoy their company.
