When my husband asked me yesterday if we could eat meatballs today, I knew that I would have to refer to my cookbook in order to get the recipe right.    I don’t think I’ve made meatballs with sauce in probably two years and the one that I used to use all the time can be found in my favorite cookbook.    I was actually pretty excited that he mentioned wanting them, because it was one of those things I’d forgotten all about.    I also just received the new cookware that I’d ordered online and making the meatballs would be a great way to test it out.

I pulled out the cookbook last night so that I could go through the recipe and see what I needed from the store.   I was hoping that I remembered to put a star by the recipe so that I wouldn’t have to read each meatball recipe in the cookbook in hopes of remembering.  I had actually circled the title so find it was very easy.  I arrived home from the grocery store a little while ago and I’ll get them started soon so they can spend several hours simmering before dinner.  They are going to be good.
