It is somewhat ironic I am writing a post about cooking baking today as I have been using several of my cookbooks the last couple of weeks for cooking baking. I do not do a lot of cooking baking during the spring, summer, or fall seasons of the year as I am outside doing other things and cook far less that during the winter. Winter day's like we are having currently is the time I spend cooking baking all the foods I like because I have the extra free time to do so. Today I baked homemade oatmeal cookie's while two day's ago I baked two large dishes of lasagna, which I love. When I am doing cooking baking I almost always double the cooking recipes so I can give most of what I make to family and friends. I do cook in the summer but it is usually outside on the grill. I also take advantage of my winter cooking to try new recipes for everything from main dishes to cakes, and cookie's. I enjoy doing this and when I do get a new dish right I add it to my list of favorites.
