Making the Best with World Cooking Recipes |

With Thanksgiving fast approaching, I thought I would try and do something different this year. As a traditional Southern cook, I have my old tried and true cooking recipes which my family and friends swear are the best; but, it is time for something new and exciting! Going online, I found an excellent ecommerce store called Good Galley located at http://www.goodgalley.com. This is one of the few sites I discovered that actually carries cookbooks. Since I collect cook books, this has proven to be an ideal site for my personal shopping habits!
Most kitchen cooks will tell you they use cooking recipes that belong to their families or they learn them in cooking classes, or perhaps a highly recommended cookbook. Regardless of what sort of cooking baking is done, there is always room for a new dish. Hence, my decision to purchase a book called World Cuisine Baking. It is time for me to explore new areas of baking and cooking, and I believe I am ready to introduce the newly found dishes to the family and friends over the holidays.
Wherever we go for Thanksgiving, we each bring special dishes. I am the "turkey, dressing and gravy" Mom. However, this year, I intend to bring some fabulous desserts. With the correct bakery supplies and the new cooking recipes, I should be able to bring a multitude of good eats to the table!
Usually, my Mom does a lot of desserts. Her Father was a baker before he died, and she did inherit much of his talent in the kitchen. I've never tasted a Key Lime Pie, or Custard Cream Pie better than Mom's. I had decided long ago that my specialties would not be in the desert field because I needed to watch my weight...and I knew I might be weak and eat too much! However, I now know I can do any cooking recipes and maintain control of overeating. Since that revelation, I'm ready to explore this new cookbook, and I have no doubt I will find the right recipe for the best cake or pie that would fit the holiday season perfectly!
Once I have mastered the cooking and presentation of the chosen desserts, I will share the wealth with the family. I thought I would have the cooking recipes typed up on colored paper, and at the end of the meal, give anyone who was impressed enough to want to repeat the process, give them a copy.
