One day closer to our national day of celebration to give thanks for the many blessings that we have.  Perhaps, on this unextraordinary Thursday (one week before Thanksgiving Day) we should just reflect on what you and I have.  I’m not talking about material goods necessarily. Nor would I presume to comment on religious issues, in this most controversial of times.  I would simply ask that everyone take some time (or times, if you will) to give thanks. Give thanks for whatever you are thankful for.  Tell someone.  Drop the rhetoric for a while.  There will be plenty of time to pick it back up again. Remember what has been called the greatest gift of all. It is the only truly inalienable, unequivocal right that we have.  What is that?  You tell me.
