We just finished being great kichen cooks for Thanksgiving and now it is time for more cooking baking. This is the time many of us dust off the old cooking recipes or our favorite cookbook and bake or cook the families traditional favorites. I will need to check my bakery supplies and see if I still have all the items needed to decorate the holiday cookies and other baked goods. At my workplace, we will have our annual holiday pot-luck. We need to sign-up on what we are bringing. Like every year, most of us will trade cooking recipes and baking recipes. Every year I try to cook something different for the holiday dinner. I have been looking through my cookbook, but I still haven’t decided what to cook this year. I have many friends and of course family that are much better kitchen cooks than I am. I will probably ask their advice on what dishes they love and see if I can borrow some great cooking recipes. The spirit of the holidays and terrific food shared among family and friends is what I love most about this time of year.
